The Meigs County Common Pleas Court conducts select proceedings by Zoom and keeps its meeting room open for the public to observe. Below is the court’s Zoom room, the requirements for participating in a hearing, and the rules for observing online.
The same meeting room is used for scheduled remote hearings and for public observation.
For attorneys, plaintiffs, defendants, and witnesses actively participating in a scheduled remote hearing. Join using the court’s Meeting ID and Passcode above.
Some pretrial hearings may be held, with prior written permission, by Zoom. If you wish to appear remotely, you must obtain the court’s permission in advance.
The court’s Zoom room is typically open all day for anyone who wishes to observe court. Use the Meeting ID and Passcode above to join as an observer.
Anyone joining Zoom for observation who fails to remain on mute, or who in any way disrupts the court, will be subject to removal from the Zoom observation room and potential banning of future observation via Zoom.
The courtroom is under video and audio surveillance at all times. While court is in session, proceedings may be live-streamed on the court’s Zoom room and the court’s YouTube channel.
